Western Australia Attractions.
There is a wonderful assortment of Western Australia attractions quite apart from the well known and much visited, just follow the links on the page and you’ll find whatever attractions you're looking for.
Perth,
Western Australia’s capital, is blessed with the beautiful Swan River and, of course, wherever you have a beautiful river you have wonderful cruises.
A popular Western Australia attraction you might like to try is Perth’s famous wine cruise which remains Perth's original and only wine cruise to the Swan Valley. You will enjoy premium wine tasting at both Sandalford Estate and Waters Edge Winery prior to lunch and surprise entertainment from the talented crew. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the riverside restaurant, Waters Edge Café Winery, in a private room with views to the Swan River. Board the MV River Lady and cruise back to Perth in the afternoon. If you would prefer to experience this Western Australia attraction in the evening then maybe the Perth City of Lights Dinner Cruise is for you.
Perhaps you would rather eat on a train! I know that railway food can be, well, less than appetising, but on this train you can feel the spirit of the west as you travel in time and dine in style with a glass of wine on the “Spirit of the West”, The Avon Experience Dining Train. Take a tour of the Margaret River, Eagles, Caves, Wine and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, you’ll really enjoy this, I know I did. Explore the Pinnacles Desert famous for its amazing moonlike landscape, go sandboarding on giant white sand dunes, visit the Valley of the Giants and take a walk through the tops of the trees, so many wonderful Western Australia attractions in and around Perth for you to enjoy. Western Australia’s
Coral Coast
is another place you really must visit if you enjoy interacting with the local wildlife, (no, I’m not talking about the wonderful people who live there…..). Come prepared to be amazed.
Whales, dolphins, dugong, manta rays, huge cod or sharks can be seen in abundance on this tour! 260-kilometre-long Ningaloo Reef offers world class diving through to family snorkelling in sheltered lagoons crammed with coral gardens. Ningaloo is the largest fringing coral reef in Australia. It is the only large reef in the world found so close to a continental land mass; about 100 metres offshore at its nearest point and less than seven kilometres at its furthest and it covers more than 4000 square kilometres. Your 4WD adventure will have you enjoying Ningaloo Reef, Shark Bay, the dolphins at Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Kalbarri and the Pinnacles. Swim, snorkel, scuba, ride a quad bike or take a boat cruise, and on top of all that you get to stay on sheep stations, farms and country lodges. What could be better that this?
Not much... However….. you can take a 7 day Albany, Tree Top Walk, Margaret River, Pinnacles, Kalbarri and Monkey Mia tour which will blow your mind. And then there’s
The Kimberleys,
one of the world's last true wilderness areas with fewer people per square kilometre than almost anywhere else on the planet. Wild rivers, deep gorges, and mountains, are there for you to explore amid the rustic red and green colours which flood the landscape. Mother Nature owns this land and if you choose to explore it you’ll be rewarded by a deep sense of connection with your own soul and this planet.
It really is the place to go if you really want an authentic Australian outback adventure. But don’t forget your four wheel drive, you won’t get very far without it. So much to see, so much to do, so many Western Australia attractions, so many Perth attractions, so many Fremantle attractions, so many Albany attractions, so much wildlife, so much scenery, so much beauty.......... I could rave on, but I won’t, you’ll just have to come and see for yourself, do it, you really will………………enjoy. For a more comprehensive list of The Kimberley’s wonderful attractions just
