So many NSW attractions to see and do you almost need to take up residence…
In
Sydney,
New South Wales, of course there’s the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. These Sydney icons are probably the most recognisable man made attractions in all of Australia. Take a tour of the Opera House, walk the bridge, or, if you have a strong head for heights and a keen sense of adventure take the bridge climb, the views are incredible. Sydney harbour itself is another of the NSW attractions you should be sure not to miss.
You’ll get a great view if you’re coming into town by air, if you miss out on that then a harbour boat ride is a must. For a day out take the bus which goes around the city and stops at many interesting places along the way, it doesn’t cost much and is a good way to see a lot of NSW attractions you might otherwise miss. As you might expect, in the
Blue Mountains
exploring the National Parks should feature prominently on your list of NSW attractions to do and see. From early February until the end of December each year tours of these national treasures can be arranged through the
National Parks website.

Art galleries are also a feature of the area with many well known local artists in residence and other NSW attractions include the Jenolan Caves, Everglades Gardens and the famous Zig Zag railway, constructed between 1866 and 1869, and sure to thrill. The Hunter Valley
is home to some of Australia’s finest wineries, if you’re a wine aficionado, or just someone who likes a good drop, you’ll find plenty to see and do around the wineries and along the wine trails. Situated within the beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Region you’ll also find another wonderful NSW attraction, the Hunter Valley Zoo which provides a peaceful haven with both Australian and exotic animals.
Discover the unique wildlife of Australia, feed the kangaroos or relax in the picnic grounds.The Hunter Valley Zoo is a good day out, there are many kangaroo and wallaby species to see, as well as koalas, dingoes, wombats, reptiles, monkeys, birds and deer. You can feed the kangaroos, wallabies, deer and birds when you like, you can also feed your family and cook up a storm on the barbeques or get some refreshments at the Zoo Kiosk. Southern Highlands
region of New South Wales boasts a wonderful assortment of NSW attractions to see and do.

North Coast
