Canberra Shopping.....

Canberra's thriving Civic area is the main area for Canberra shopping and is home to a number of large shopping centres, spreading pedestrian shopping malls, and department stores, including both Myers and David Jones department stores.

Featuring the largest concentration of shops and shopping centres in Canberra, the Civic district is also home to a good selection of specialty shops which include jewellery stores, art galleries, antiques shops, restaurants and cafés and some wonderful street entertainment.

Along City Walk in Canberra's Civic district is the Canberra Shopping Centre, a large and trendy indoor shopping mall.

The Canberra Shopping Centre has many outstanding fashion boutiques, clothing shops of all descriptions, homewares outlets, department stores, a food court, gift shops selling souvenirs of Canberra, a large car park and exceptional shopping facilities, including wheelchair access.

With almost 200 shops, the Canberra Shopping Centre is one of the best places to shop in Canberra or, for that matter, all of the Australian Capital Territory.
